Moor Pool Estate was the idea of John Nettlefold (who also built Winterbourne House in Edgbaston). Around 500 houses were built between 1907 - 1912 by architects Martin & Martin.
The walk lasts about one and a half hours around some of the hidden pathways and allotments of the estate including some steps and uneven surfaces so walking shoes are recommended.
We end the walk at the Edwardian skittle alley where we have the opportunity for a game of skittles and a light lunch.
Members £12.50, Non-members £15.00. Light lunch included.
Cheques payable to Arts Society Birmingham Evening.
